IPITEK Introduces High-Performance Broadcast-Quality Video over Ethernet
Carrying video over IP is very challenging as well as puzzling. In IP and Ethernet networks, packets are transported using resources (links, switches, and routers with packet buffers) that are statistically shared with traffic from other sources through the network, providing a flexible utilization of network resources. With the deployment of these new IPTV services, existing network infrastructures must scale to support millions of customers, maximize bandwidth resources, and provide quality of service (QoS) and security on an end-to-end basis.
