Description

IPITEK's MSP-320 is a new generation multi-service transport unit. It is designed to meet the high demand from customers for both data and video transport. MSP-320 can aggregate 6 uncompressed or compressed ASI video services with Ethernet Data service, and transport them over high speed optical trunk. All services share the overall 10 Gb/s trunk bandwidth with video priority higher than Ethernet, hence greatly increased the network utilization.

MSP-320 is a true bi-directional transport unit in 1 RU compact design. Each unit comes with standard Mux and Demux, or Encoder and Decorder functions. The standard and compact design can benefit customers with cost effective solution, ease of network troubleshooting and deployment, reduced rack space and less spare units.

MSP-320 adopted sophisticated timing synchronization technology to maintain high timing performance for each independent video stream across network.

Having inherited all the software features from previous MSP-220 series, MSP-320 allows customer to manage the unit via CLI interface, or remotely via Web interface. Through those interfaces, customers can enable/disable services, monitor service input and output status, read log file, or set up trap destination for receiving SNMP traps. Beside the management interfaces, front panel LCD also give customers direct indication of the system status.
