The LumiTherm X7 OEM temperature board is an opto-electronic signal conditioner designed to be embedded in a host product. This OEM signal conditioner works in conjunction with the X5 line of fiber optic temperature sensors.
Our X5 TRUE sensors are the most accurate fiber optic sensors on the market today and come calibrated from the factory for simple plug-and-play operation. X5 fiber optic sensors use the recognized fluorescence decay temperature sensing principle to provide Fast, Accurate, and Consistent temperature measurement in RF/EMI/MW environments, including medical MRI systems. The X5 line of sensors offers different models with complementary specifications to suit your distinctive needs for temperatures between -40 to 250 º C. Custom sensors are also possible. Signal conditioner electronics for these sensors are available in modular rack mount and OEM board formats.
The X5 BLUE sensor is a fiber optic thermometer that is immune to electro-magnetic interferences, radio frequencies, and microwaves.
X5 RED sensors are the high-temperature range sensors in the LumiTherm X5 line of EMI, RF, and MW immune fiber optic thermometers.
The LumiTherm X5R rack mount and LumiTherm X5 module offer a modular solution for an "optical thermocouple." A Windows-based user interface controls each of the installed modules via a single Ethernet connection from a host computer, such as a laptop, to the rack mount unit.

The LumiTherm 2000 fiber-optic thermometer is a multi-channel temperature measurement system, with a choice of modules for different temperature ranges up to 1600 º C. Each channel consists of a sapphire (or quartz) probe, a flexible fiber-optic cable, and an electro-optic plug-in module. LumiTherm optical pyrometers are a superior high-temperature measurement solution for hostile environments where corrosive chemicals or high electromagnetic interference (EMI) exist, or where electrical sparks may present an ignition hazard. The small diameter probe allows temperature monitoring with minimal disruption to operating equipment and can be fit easily into many existing systems. Rapid response time allows real-time feedback and control.
